Michele Holzinger, DMD, MDSc

Dr. Michele Holzinger is a graduate of Mercy High School in Middletown, CT.  She went on to attend the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN, where she majored in pre-med and history.  Go Irish!  After graduation, she volunteered for a year through Amate House, an Americorps program in Chicago.  She served as a kindergarten teacher and director of the Junior Scholars Program in the South Side. 

Dr. Michele moved back East to attend the Boston University Henry Goldman School of Dental Medicine, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude.  She was also awarded the “Periodontics” Award.  She went on to complete her residency training in Periodontics at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. 

Dr. Michele recently got married and enjoys time with her husband, Paul, and their dog, Sam.  In her free time, she loves swimming, running, Crossfit, and anything outdoors.  She is also an avid reader and loves to crochet.
